2. What personal data we collect

A. Drivers and subcontractors

We collect and process:

• Name, address, email address, phone number
• Account and login details
• Bank and payment details
• Vehicle, insurance and driving-licence information
• Right-to-work and compliance information
• Location data (see section 5)

Where required by law, we may process information relating to criminal convictions (for example, driving-related offences), strictly in accordance with UK law.

B. Customers

We collect:

• Name and contact details
• Collection and delivery addresses
• Delivery instructions and communications
• Invoice details

3. How we use personal data

We process personal data to:

• Create and manage user accounts
• Allocate, manage and complete deliveries
• Provide estimated arrival times and delivery updates
• Process payments and invoices
• Communicate with users and provide support
• Meet legal and regulatory obligations
• Prevent fraud and ensure safety

4. Lawful bases for processing

We rely on the following lawful bases under UK GDPR:

• Performance of a contract – to provide delivery services
• Legal obligation – including tax, employment, immigration and safety law
• Legitimate interests – such as service improvement, fraud prevention and operational efficiency
• Vital interests – where necessary to protect life or safety

We only rely on consent where required by law (for example, optional notifications).

5. Location tracking (important)

Drivers

We process location data:

• During active jobs (precise location) to manage deliveries, provide ETAs and ensure safety
• Outside active jobs (general location only) to offer relevant work opportunities

Location tracking is:

• Limited to what is necessary
• Not used for continuous monitoring unrelated to services
• Retained only for short operational and dispute-resolution periods

You can control location permissions via your device settings, but disabling them may limit service functionality.

6. Sharing personal data

We may share personal data with:

• Customers, our customer’s end users, and drivers, where necessary to complete deliveries
• Payment processors and banks
• Technology and hosting providers
• Professional advisers, insurers, regulators or law enforcement where required

International access

Some service providers and developers may access data outside the UK. Where this occurs, we use appropriate safeguards such as UK-approved contractual protections.

7. How long we keep personal data

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary, including:

• Account data: while an account is active, unless required alongside other datasets (below) for their purposes.
• Financial records: as required by tax and accounting law
• Location data: short-term retention for operational and dispute purposes
• Compliance records: as required by law

When data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymised. Backup data is isolated until deletion is possible.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls and encryption. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

9. Children

Our services are not intended for children. Drivers and users must be 18 or over.
If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child, we will delete it promptly.
